After biking for good many years, me as every other biker loves his rallies & events. I have been a part of the bikers scene for years, I have co-run some of the biggest internet based forums around and also I am a current member of a great online forum club called Rebel Smugglers.

After co-running these clubs I used to email a lot of clubs swapping links and advertising our run outs, but apart from a few of the biggest bikers websites  (MCN) I didnt find much out there, how to find what the hell was on out there apart from good old fashioned hear-say...

So I always fancied a move away from forums and setting up a directory for rallies, events and a club index for the weekend biker... I set up ridesandrallies in 2006 and quickly found over a period of 2 years that ridesandrallies is growing bigger than I thought, so with always trying to do better I decided to relocated and bring you a much improved website... I think the new place is just what R&R needs, a great new look and a fantastic array of options for the biker searching for that elusive event.

Thanks for coming to visit us and I hope that ridesandrallies will give you what you need, if not why not pop me an email. I welcome any comments that you the biker can give to us...

Ride Safe & Have Fun...

Self-biography

Hi there, my name is Chris Adams better known as grizzler. I have, amazingly, managed to live on this Earth for 42 years, (if you knew me in my youth you would know why that is amazing!)

I have been a Biker and rally goer since I was 17 yrs old which is when I passed my bike test. Never owned a car but I have owned a few white vans.

I am a singer in a great rock band called Trollbangers If you have seen us you know I am not lying and if you haven’t then hurry up!
I,

Like Joe, have always though that a central hub of rally info was a great idea and I am happy to help promote this excellent web site.

I spend a lot of time in my garage restoring old bikes to a roadworthy condition usually to original looks but for my current project I decided to “tart” my gs850 up a bit. You can see that my current baby is not quite ready to go yet but will be very soon.

I can’t wait for spring every year because I can get out and about and meet friends old and new. So look out for me and say hi if you see me at a rally coz I don’t bite…. Unless I am asked to politely!

Ride safe and see you soon.

Self-biography

Hello to you one and all, my name is Bill - aka - Bilbo Togins.

I have been around bikes for more years than I care to remember, passing my test at 16 ..... I have had sorts of bikes ( I would be a rich man if I kept some of the old ones) as the years go by life gets slower so now I ride a Harley and a VN1600 nomad for my sins. I have seen the rally scene change over the years ....

Some good and some bad... but always I get a buzz meeting good group of friendly guys and gals.

I was a professional Photo - Journalist for various publication and magazines from around the world, but now I just do it part time as and when something interesting comes up. So I was honoured when i was asked to join Rides & Rallies.

I look forward meeting you at events and rallies during the coming years. Please don't be shy .... Come and have a chat if you see me around.

Remember, biking is fun, so enjoy the wind in your hair and the beer down your throat.

Hi everyone my names Elaine also known as Shamrock.

After a summer being left home alone I took the bull or should that be 'Bandit' by the horns and went pillion with my hubby Joe (Bulldog), first ride out Preston, Lancashire to Colchester, Essex 278 miles (no motorways), excellent way to se the country and the biking bug took a firm hold.

Several years have passed and I still love being in the wind.

Looking forward to the first 'biggie' of the year rally wise 'Bum In The Mud 2010' at Mersea Island, Essex along with other members of the Rebel Smugglers forum what a great bunch of people!!!

Self-biography

My name is Val AKA Zebedee (as a kid, I never could sit still!), I live near St Helens, Lancs with my partner, Steve, I have 2 lads, 3 bearded dragons, 3 corn snakes, 1 currently AWOL python & 2 siberian huskies

I spent WAY too many years as a pillion following people around so decided to do something about it & passed my test 2 1/2 yrs ago. My first biking holiday was a 6 day trip around Ireland (Dublin to Galway, up the west coast, round the top into Northern Ireland, Giant's Causeway, then down the east coast back to Dublin) .... The very week we had the gales!

Why can't they teach you to ride at 45 degree angles in a straight line? Would've helped me LOADS!!

Having a mini zoo makes it hard to get to many rally weekends but you will see me pop up for the day here & there, so don't be a stranger, I don't bite Just look for the Magic Roundabout helmet!

I am proud to be asked to be a part of this great informative website, a central base where you can see at the click of a button what's on where - what more do you want??!!

Keep it rubber side down, ride safe!
